Festival access rules
The rules that let everyone enjoy the festival safely, up high and at the foot of the slopes.
1. Scope
These rules apply to anyone present at the Outdoormix Winter Festival sites, organised by Backevent from 2 to 4 April 2027 in Serre Chevalier: the mountain village at the top of the Pontillas gondola, the concert site at the foot of the Pontillas, the OFF Piste VIP area and the festival’s partner venues.
Buying a pass or entering any of these sites means accepting these rules.
2. Access and passes
- The daytime event up high is free to enter, subject to a valid ticket for the ski lifts (pedestrian pass or ski pass).
- Access to the concerts requires a valid pass for the night concerned: Friday Pass, Saturday Pass, Full Pass or VIP pass.
- Tickets are checked at the entrance: keep yours with you all evening.
- Reselling passes without the organiser’s permission is prohibited (article 313-6-2 of the French Criminal Code).
- Leaving the concert site is final for the night. With a Full Pass, you can of course come back the next day.
3. Minors
- Under 12: free entry, with an adult holding a ticket.
- 13 to 15: full price, accompanied at all times by a parent or guardian holding a ticket.
- 16 to 17: full price, on presentation of a signed parental consent form, a copy of the parent or guardian’s ID and the minor’s ID.
Under-12s get their free ticket on site; from 13, tickets are bought online. The required documents (IDs, parental consent) may be checked at any time. The organiser may refuse entry to a minor who does not meet these conditions. Accompanying adults remain responsible for the minors in their care.
4. Security and checks
For everyone’s safety, pat-downs and visual bag checks may be carried out at the entrance by authorised staff. Anyone refusing these checks will be refused entry.
The organiser may refuse entry to or remove, without refund, anyone whose behaviour disturbs public order, endangers their own safety or that of others, or breaches these rules.
5. Prohibited items and substances
On the concert site and in the VIP area, the following are prohibited:
- Glass containers and cans;
- Sharp or blunt objects (knives, scissors, tools…);
- Weapons of any kind and objects that could be used as a weapon or projectile;
- Smoke bombs, fireworks, bangers and laser pointers;
- Drones, unless authorised by the organiser;
- Portable speakers and megaphones;
- Drinks and alcohol brought from outside;
- Drugs;
- Animals, except assistance dogs;
- Banners and signs of a political, religious, abusive or discriminatory nature;
- Professional photo or video equipment without accreditation.
Prohibited items are not stored at the entrance: please leave them at home or in your vehicle.
6. Behaviour and prevention
- Everyone respects other festival-goers, the artists, the teams and the mountain environment.
- Harassment, violence and discrimination are not tolerated.
- Selling alcohol to minors is prohibited. Bars may ask for ID if in doubt about age and may refuse to serve anyone who is drunk.
- Rubbish must be put in the collection points provided. Up high, take all your rubbish back down with you.
7. Up high
- The ski area rules and the ski patrol’s instructions apply.
- Helmets are compulsory in all practice areas open to the public.
- The demo zones are reserved for invited riders and strictly off-limits to the public.
- The times of the last way down are posted on the Serre Chevalier website and at the foot of the lifts: everyone plans their way down accordingly.
- Personal equipment remains the responsibility of its owner.
8. Weather and changes
The programme may be changed, moved, interrupted or cancelled, in particular due to the weather, snow conditions or safety constraints, by decision of the organisers or the ski patrol. The line-up may also change.
Pass refund conditions are governed by the terms and conditions of sale of the Serre Chevalier booking centre.
9. Image rights
Photos and videos are taken at the festival. By entering the sites, you agree to be photographed or filmed and to these images being used, free of charge, to promote the festival and events organised by Backevent, on all media, for 10 years. You can object by writing to contact@outdoormixwinterfestival.com.
10. Liability and lost property
The organiser is not responsible for the loss, theft or damage of personal belongings. Lost property can be claimed via the contact form. Each participant is responsible for any damage they may cause.
